Habitat for Humanity Vermilion is a Project Committee of the Lloydminster Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization.
Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold with no interest charged.
Our goal is to provide families in need a "hand-up" not a "hand-out".

Lot Dedication

The dedication of the lot on which Habitat Vermilion will build occurred on April 19, 2010. Committee members from both Vermilion and Lloydminster "On the Border" Habitat committee attended, as well as Mrs. Linda Benoit, on behalf of MP Leon Benoit, and members of the press and community attended the event. Reverend Keith Marsh is shown here blessing the lot and the project. A sign identifiying the project site was unveiled and the house plans were available. Stop by 4720 - 55 Ave. (north of the Roman Catholic Church) to see the beautiful view which the Habitat Partner Family will enjoy from their new home.
